- I enjoy taking photos for pleasure and really love how cool some of them come out looking. I have a basic digital camera and photo software that I enjoy fooling aorund with. Maybe one of these days I'll spurge and get a real 35mm camera. Until then I am happy with the results and hope people enjoy my photos.

What a fantastic photo!! I SO LOVE this tree!! I, personally have a large collection of photos of tree parts..mostly above-ground root systems - I just can't help myself...oh, and can't forget the Fungus Collection...:) Thank you so much for sharing this!!

I like this too! I am really jealous of the way you take photos. If I go for a walk in the wood, I am the one that spots the squirrel or the robin hiding in the bush. I regularly walk past everything else!
Thank you both for your comments. I have come to really love trees. Really seeing the character in them, as truly wise beings of nature who have so much history behind them. The narlier the better it is to take photos of the tree.
